This is the very handsome Rei. Rei and his siblings haven't had an easy start to life at all however his troubles aren't really down to inhumanity, but humanity that just needs some help. Just over 8 months ago, a genuine and kind gentleman from the Romani community in Croatia took in a pregnant, female stray. He already had a large number of cats and other dogs in his care and yet he felt such compassion for this lovely female he took her in. With very little money, the gentleman struggled to feed their mother and the puppies. As they grew, the scraps of food he could spare them were barely enough to ward off the feeling of hunger and they were underweight and very tired, but still they struggled on
The gentleman could only keep them in a very small area with just a little shelter .. and as they grew they would jump the fence, desperate for freedom. He would have to catch them and put them back in their 'prison' for their safety - well away from local people who would physically abuse and even kill them.
Rei and his siblings are now in foster homes in the UK, where they have a better chance of finding loving homes. Rei has grown into a lovely dog. He gets on very well with other dogs and is very friendly to people. He has an immeasurable amount of love to give and can be a real 'cuddle monster'.
He is just about knee high, so not a large dog by any means. He likes his walks and loves playing with other dogs (in foster with a Yorkie at the moment). He also lives with a 2 year old child, so would fit in well in a household with children.
This gorgeous boy needs a forever home where he can give his love, and get all the love and care he so deserves.
