MIRNA - small 12 month old female - FOSTERED IN NORFOLK

Mirna is a wonderfully playful happy little girl, with the cutest wiggle bottom ever! Enhanced by her lack of a tail, bless her. She has good recall and responds to her name well in all situations.

She knows to sit when told, especially for a treat, and will listen to what you would like her to do. She isn't yet lead trained, but we'll now be working on that and she likes to chase the cats, but no aggression shown. Her fur looks wiry, but in fact it's really lovely and soft. She's been ok when left at home with my dogs, with the radio on. She's excited when you return, but not anxious.

Mirna will take a few days to settle in somewhere new and if you have dogs already, you may notice she will sit on the outskirts of others dogs playing for a while before she wants to join in. This took a few days with my dogs. She's eating well, drinks a lot of water and loves a snuggle. She needs more socialisation outside of the home and would benefit from some formal training.

Mirna has been saved from a "kill date" in a Croatian pound which was fast approaching. She has been brought to a foster home in the UK and is looking for a forever home.

The dogs in the pound received basic food, care and attention. The vet/manager works with local rescue organisations who try to find new homes for the dogs.

However, there is always a threat that they will be euthanised, if ordered to do so by local officials.

The dogs mix well with most other dogs, of all shapes and sizes. They are not always cat-tested, as there are no cats in the pound. However, street dogs can often be integrated into a cat household as they lived with them during their life on the streets.
